Why should I enrol myself or my children in coding class?

Is there a free trial class at IXICode?
Yes. Please contact us for more information about availability of trial classes.
What are session timing and duration?
The coding sessions are usually held on 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on weekdays and 9:30 am to 11:30 am on weekends. Please contact us for availability.
Where is the location of face-to-face coding class?
The face-to-face sessions are held at 20 Furber Street, The Ponds 2769 NSW.
Do you offer online classes?
Not in current term. Register your interest with us for next term with preferred timeslot.
Do you take NSW Creative Kids Voucher for classes?
Not in current term.
Can I or my children join mid-term
Yes. We have many students joining mid-term. We try to place in the right group so that that they don’t feel behind in the course.
Class and Courses
What is the course offered in Term 3 2023?
In the current term, students will learn basics of python programming. It will cover 101 hand-on-topics where students not only learn about core concepts of it but also develop below projects and games such as rock, paper, scissors game, quiz game, clock program, calculator program, text editor program, tic tac toe game, snake game etc.
Do you offer other courses?
Yes. We do offer varieties of courses such as web and mobile app development using flutter and dart, database programming, content creation etc.
What to bring during the class?
We don’t provide laptops to students, so please send you kids with Windows or MacOS laptop with charger and mouse. Please make sure they have full access to the system and if there are any parental control, allow them full access during the session.
Also give them a small snack to eat during a short break and water bottle to keep hydrated.
How do you structure the course?
We structure our course based on school terms and encourage kids to do projects during the holiday period.
Is there any show-and-tell session at the end of term?
Yes. At the end of each term student will present their project and learning. Parents are recommended to attend the second half of the last session of each term to see their children’s achievements.
Can parent give and receive feedback?
Feedback is very critical for us so please share it with teachers. After each session, ask your children what they have learned today. Let the teachers know if they are facing difficulties like, the pace of learning, is it too hard, is it too easy, is it too much to do. We will listen and change style to teaching based on your valuable feedback.

How much is the fee for a term?
For each term with 10 sessions and each session of 2 hours we charge $350 inclusive of GST.
Do you bill per term or per session?
We usually bill per-term. But if you are joining in mid-term then you bill for the remaining session based on pro-rata basis.
How can I pay the fee?
You can pay fee either using using bank transfer or cash.
Do you have discount on fee?
Yes. Early bird enrolment done one month in advance before the start of the term receive 10% discount. Also cash payments discounted at 10%.

Do you have the detailed course content with topics to share?
Yes. Please contact us and we would be more than happy to shared the details course content for each sessions of the term.
I am new to programming and does not know anything about it. Can I join a course?
Yes. Many of our course are designed for students where no prior knowledge is needed.
